Shani Hodson photography (January)



Frockstar had the pleasure of working with Shani Hodson ,Frockstar customised Shani's wedding dresses (Shani used to design wedding dresses now photographer) five in fact and transformed them into one amazing gown for one of Shani's shoots.


There was also a 50's pinup themed shoot where Frockstars customised & vintage style lingerie were used.

Frockstar @ The Party Popup Boutique (December)




Frockstar were one of many independent designers at the launch of the popup boutique in December.Situated in Manchesters Barton Arcade the popup is still going strong this spring,popular with young ladies looking for something special for their prom to soap stars wanting a redcarpet gown.The party popup is the place to visit if you don't want a mass produced outfit.

Goodbye studio (Christmas Day)

Our contract on our city centre studio was up in December and we have now left :( We have been receiving lots of emails and calls about students wanting to do work experience but unfortunatley we are unable to offer any places at the moment. Charity ball raises £10,000 for Mind! | Mind



Frockstar reveived a lovely letter about the Denise Welch charity ball raising an amazing £10,000.Frockstar kindly donated a limited edition dress to auction off on the night.



Jennifer trust (November)




An amazing time was had by all at the launch of the Jennifer James trust ,19th november 2010, The Albert Halls Bolton. Britains got talent stars ,James and Graham Edgington of father & son set up the charity to help widowed fathers and their children.

Frockstar made a limited run of 60's influenced Men's ties and Ladies scarves for the charity as worn by Peaches Geldof (above photo) behind the scenes of OMG! in March 2011.

This week Frockstar handed over a limited edition dress which will be up for auction at Denise Welch & Tim Healey's charity dinner.All proceeds from the night will go to the charity "Mind".The ball has a "psychedelic sixties" theme and promises to be a special night to remember.

The event will be held on Saturday 27th November ,tickets £95.00 each
The Point ,Old Trafford Cricket Club.

Jennifer James Trust.


For the last couple of months Frockstar have been working alongside James Edgington of Father & Son (Britains Got Talent).James has set up a charity for widowed fathers and their children .James wanted to design a scarf and tie for the Jennifer James trust, the theme being 1960's .The ties & scarves will be sold at the launch of the trust on 19th November held at the Albert Halls Bolton.
